Work-life Balance across the Life Stages: Proofing Policies and Practices
Work-life balance (WLB) is a prominent issue for employers and their employees within small to medium sized enterprises (SME). The aim of this project was to develop a 'WLB across the Life Stages' practical toolkit to help SME businesses effectively manage their WLB polices, practices and procedures.
Gender Related Work-life Balance & Well-being in Scottish Food Retail Businesses
Work-life balance is a key issue on the policy agenda. Businesses need to ensure that employment practices comply with developments in UK & EU law. This research project investigated work-life balance issues in nine Scottish food retail businesses.
